1. Park on level ground and turn off the engine.
2. Place your jack underneath the vehicle’s frame near the tire that needs to be changed.
3. Crank the jack to lift the car/truck off the ground until the tire is about 6 inches off the ground.
4. Remove the lug nuts from the wheel using your wrench and set them aside.
5. Pull the wheel off and set it aside.
6. Put the new tire on the vehicle, making sure that it’s properly aligned to the axle.
7. Put the lug nuts back on and tighten them using your wrench.
8. Lower the car back down to the ground by cranking the jack in reverse.
9. Remove the jack!
10. Conduct a quick test drive to make sure everything is working properly before getting back on the road.
